Good Afternoon Resident

Over the last seven days there has been one burglary on Rookery Road. The offender stole items to the value of £250. There was also one shed break on Cecil Road where the offender/s have forced open the door of a metal shed and stole, a Makita electric screw driver and drill.

We have also had four theft of motor vehicles on the following roads, Manilla Road, Reservoir Road, Oakfield Road, and Dawlish Road. The vehicles stolen was a black Toyota, a gold Volkswagen Arteon, a blue Mitsubishi and a grey Vauxhall Astra.

Our officers continue to investigate these crimes and hi visibility patrols are in place

CRIME PREVENTION ADVICE

Invest in a full disc steering wheel lock

Put your car fobs in a faraday pouch

Check all windows are shut and all doors are locked

Never leave anything in your vehicle no matter what its value is

Property mark any valuables you have such as laptops, tools etc
